Jakarta is Indonesia’s sprawling capital, a mix of gleaming malls, old-town history and a serious food and nightlife scene. It rewards visitors who plan around its geography. Soekarno-Hatta (CGK) is the main gateway, and the airport train saves you from the worst of the traffic. It’s the country’s busiest hub by far.
